Renovation

Whole rooms or floors run as one job, from strip-out to the last coat of paint.

Price

Priced per project

Typical duration

2 to 8 weeks

Before work starts

We visit, measure and agree the scope with you room by room. For structural changes we bring in a structural engineer and handle building control, and we tell you early if the work needs planning permission.

The written quote breaks the job into stages with a price for each, plus a contingency line for what older houses tend to hide.

One crew, one schedule

Renovations go wrong when trades wait for each other. We plan the order before we start: strip-out, first fix, plastering, tiling, second fix, flooring, decorating. You get the schedule in writing and a weekly update.

Electrical and plumbing work is carried out by our certified partners, coordinated by us. You deal with one person from start to finish.

During the job

One lead runs the project from strip out to handover. Every Friday you get a short written update: what was done, what comes next and any decision we need from you. Ruth keeps the schedule and orders materials, so the crew is never left waiting.

Typical projects

Kitchen and bathroom refits, loft rooms, opening up ground floors and bringing a whole terraced house back to life after purchase.

Handover

We walk through the finished rooms with you, fix anything you spot and hand over the certificates from our electrical and gas partners, together with the 5 year guarantee in writing.

Who handles electrics and plumbing in a renovation?

Our certified partners do the electrical and gas work. We coordinate them, so you still deal with one person and receive all certificates at the end.
