What we collect
When you ask for a quote we receive your name, phone number, email address, the address of the job, your description and any photos you send. When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
Why we collect it
We use your details to visit, measure and quote for the job, to carry out the work you book and to send the paperwork that goes with it, such as invoices and the written guarantee. We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Who else sees it
Our website host delivers the quote form to our inbox. Our accountant sees invoices. Partner trades, such as electricians, receive the job address and your phone number only when the work needs them, and only after we have told you.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not turn into a job are deleted after 12 months. Records of finished jobs are kept for 6 years for tax and for the length of the guarantee.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how we use them. Write to hello@fernhollow.example and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
