Price
From £290 per room
Typical duration
1 to 3 days

Prep is most of the job
We fill, sand and spot-prime before any colour goes on. Cracks along ceilings and door frames are raked out and filled properly, which is why our paintwork still looks clean a few winters later.
We use water-based paints for walls and woodwork unless you ask otherwise. They dry fast and smell less, so most rooms are back in use the same evening.
Inside and out
Interiors run all year. Exterior work on windows, doors and render is booked from April to September, when the weather lets paint cure.
Protecting your home
Before we open a tin we move furniture to the middle of the room, cover it and sheet the floor wall to wall. Light fittings and sockets are loosened or masked, and stair carpets get a fitted runner. Brushes are washed out in our van, not in your sink.
Wallpaper and feature walls
We hang lining paper, standard and paste the wall papers, and strip old layers back to sound plaster first. Patterned papers are matched from the centre of the main wall, so the pattern lines up where you look most.
How long a room takes
A typical bedroom with ceiling, walls and woodwork takes two days: one for preparation and first coats, one for the finishing coats. Ines, our decorating lead, checks every room in daylight before we call it finished.

Which paint brands do you use?
We use trade paints from established British brands. If you have a specific colour from another brand, we can use that brand or have the colour matched.
Do you paint exteriors in winter?
No. Exterior paint needs dry weather above 8 degrees to cure. We book exterior work between April and September.
